Berkeley to host Chinese New Year Festival

A traditional lion dance performance in celebration of Chinese New Year will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Feb 20 near Peet’s on Fourth Street in Berkeley. Families are invited to this full day of free activities that will include storytelling, martial arts demonstrations, drumming and dancing. Participating merchants will hand out fruit and candy to children.
